Tota's is two shops in one on Utica Avenue: a working Caribbean bakery — plait bread, hard dough bread, tennis rolls, salara, sticky buns, pine tarts and patties — and a full kitchen turning out roti, oxtail, jerk chicken, soups and stews.

A longtime Crown Heights staple: come for a loaf and leave with lunch, or come for lunch and leave with a bag of coconut drops. Walk in, call ahead, or order for pickup and delivery online.
